You say our HealthCare System is Broken! Have you looked at our Government lately?

The following Video is fantastic in that it breaks down the issue of our healthcare system in fairly simple terms. Our healthcare system certainly needs reform but the question is; “should it be even more Government control or can the free market fix it?” For all of the people that are looking at this on an emotional level and want to guilt everyone into thinking that all of our healthcare system needs to be run by the Government in order for the less fortunate people to be covered please consider the following;

1) Medicare, an example of Govt. run healthcare, is broke and the people that deal with it know how sorry it is.  The Govt. has no incentive to do anything well and we have multiple examples of how that works (Dept. of Education, Medicare, Dept. of Energy, FEMA [Katrina response],etc, etc).

2) The government has no constitutional authority to step in and take control of mine or your healthcare and if it thinks it does then there should be a revolt by the people to keep the tyranny at bay.  Our Republic and its form of government has resulted in America being the greatest place in the world to live and prosper and it needs to be kept as the Founders (through the Constitution) envisioned it in order to keep it that way.  The present healthcare bill that is being proposed will fundamentally change that if approved.

3) The numbers cited about people with no healthcare or health insurance are not even close to right and are skewered to play on the compassion of Americans.  The local Health Dept. Hospitals, ER’s all take people with no health insurance and the American people ultimately pay the tab.  I would agree that there should be reform in the way that destitute people are helped medically and that there be some form of welfare health insurance (like tax breaks) but it shouldn’t mean compromising everybody’s healthcare to assuage some guilt.

4) Bottom line is that most of the problems with our healthcare costs are because the government controls 1/2 of it with Medicare and regulates the other 1/2 in ways that drive costs up and reduces efficiency.

Letter to Mr. Goodel (The NFL Commissioner)

Its unfortunate the pitiful weakness you displayed by succumbing to the pressure of the Liberal Statist’s “Political Correctness”  by deciding to criticize the possibility of Rush Limbaugh being an NFL team owner (or part owner).  By not supporting his right to be part of the NFL you show your willingness to  sacrifice the American principle of “Liberty over Tyranny” to the dogma of “Political Correctness”.

I thought the NFL was better than this and would stand up for its right to not be political.  You sir, are a joke and apparently schizophrenic as well .  Its OK for NFL players to personify and promote the debasing Hip Hop culture, The Hood, Bling, racist slang, and all that and for other owners to do as well (Jenifer Lopez, Fergie, Black Eyed Peas, etc).  Your OK with your players having tear-drop tattoos on their eyes signifying that they are “made men” (killers),  constantly make the news cavorting in strip clubs, being involved in murders, wife beatings, drug arrests, animal cruelty, DUI’s, manslaughter, and so on and on, but you fail when you have the opportunity to extend the same understanding to a Conservative ICON and stalwart who’s only issue is that he is a controversial  entertainer who has the Main Stream Media against him who is portraying him falsely for their own ends and agenda. He didn’t even say what they said he said but somehow that doesn’t matter because its him.  Thats NOT American.  Just because he is conservative doesn’t make him a racist.  Just because everybody knows he is a racists doesn’t make him one without proof.  Does that not matter to you?  You shouldn’t have gotten in the middle of it. Your weak and pathetic.  The only reason he is controversial is he doesn’t toe the Liberal, Un-American agenda.

I will never be able to look at another NFL game without the bad taste of you double standard judgment and that is a crying shame for a thirty-something year long fan.

I don’t pass judgment and wail against your decisions on all of these issues of your players.  I know you have a hard job being in the Public, but you failed your biggest test because you pitted the NFL on the wrong side against AGAINST AMERICA and what it stands for.  You Sir, DISGUST ME!

P.S.  One other thing.  If we are to keep divisive, controversial, figures out of the NFL then please remove that NutJob Keith Olbermann from any association with the NFL.  Do us all a favor and ban him from Monday Night Football.  I mean fairs fair, if we are going to talk about divisive and controversial he is the bombastic epitome of that.  The only difference is that he is a Liberal poster child and a card carrying member of the Main Stream Media Elite’s and he is actually one of the ones who decides how far they push the attack on Rush Limbaugh.  What a double standard!

So in order to prove that Rush Limbaugh is a racist the Main Stream Media has taking it upon themselves to put words in Rush’s mouth that he never said and that they can’t prove that he said but that OK cuz everybody knows Rush is a bigot. Right, I mean after all he is a conservative blow-hard and everybody knows conservatives are rascists.
Now on the other hand, everybody knows that being Democrat and liberal means that you can’t be a rascist even if your words show you to be one as in the “THE TOTALLY REAL AND NOT FAKE QUOTES SHENANIGANZA TOP TEN” (From Caleb Howe on http://www.redstate.com)

The AT&T Pure is pretty stinking good.

My Phone (ATT Tilt) crapped out and I had to purchase the Pure (ATT version of the Touch Diamond II) from ATT for $350.00 to hold me over until the Tilt2 (TP2) is available  which is who knows when and at that time I plan to get it with the contract discount.  I have to start out by saying that I am seriously impressed with the Pure itself, as well as the Touchflo3D, the new WinMo 6.5.  Even the normally substandard Mobile Internet Explorer has been vastly improved. As a long time HTC Tilt user it is a totally new experience and it all seems pretty good. Exchange server set itself up perfectly. The phone works flawlessly with conferencing, speakerphone options. I checked out the Fuze (TouchPro 1) before and even though the specs are nearly the same there is no comparison because the software and the touchscreen are so much better. The zoombar now (in 6.5) works with too many programs to list and it is indispensable. The only complaint I have is that not enough programs autorotate but that can be corrected in the registry. Oh, and another con is the miniUSB cover which gets in the way and feels like it will break off at some point.  I could actually see myself not getting the Tilt2 but I know as soon as I check it out its gonna be mine. I may just keep both as the smaller frame may come in handy sometimes.
