Jimmy Carter, You Lie!

October 1st, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Politics, Video, Wind Pudding & Air Sauce

Talk about revisionist history! In the following interview, former President Jimmy Carter shows that he is as bad a liar as President Obama. When He revised (lied about) his role in the whole Palestinian – Israel thing so he didn’t come off as the Jew hater that he is, you could at least understand that time could blur some events in his mind but here the whole Nation heard what he said just a couple of weeks ago about Obama critics mostly being racists. The following quote from then says it all;

“I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he’s African-American.” ~ Former President Jimmy Carter

Contrast That with This!

Beck was right. We should all have voted for Obama!

September 23rd, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Politics, Wind Pudding & Air Sauce

I heard the firestorm of criticism “The Great Levin” (and others) threw out at Glenn Beck today for his comments in his interview with Katie Couric about a McCain Presidency being worse for America than the Obama Presidency and I believe them to be way off base.  Some of the Video and audio of it is below and I think some of it is ridiculous and seems petty and a little envious.  First off I’m not defending Glenn just because I might be accused of having a man-crush on the sick twisted freak, I mean that may or may not be true. I’m not quite sure because I don’t really know what that term means. ;-)   I have listened to Beck’s radio show off and on for a long time and I do really admire him.  He is one brave man at the forefront of the Patriotic movement who is taking a lot of heat for speaking out against this administration.  I think he is an original and the only one who can even come close to Rush Limbaugh as both an entertainer and a true conservative voice.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love and respect Levin too.  He too, of course, is a great conservative voice but he is not comparable as an entertainer IMHO, not that it matters here though.  The thing here is that I think Levin just doesn’t seem to get it.  Apparently neither does a lot of others (see disgusting MSNBC clip with Scarbourough and others).  Glenn said in the interview that he thought McCain would have been worse than Obama or Hillary in the vein of a progressive Teddy Roosevelt and all these people are having an absolute conniption fit over it.  Hey, Does anybody remember Ann Coulter saying she was going to vote for Hillary over McCain! Her whole point was that a weak, compromising, progressive McCain Presidency would have set the conservative cause back many years.  Contrast that with the Obama Presidency that seems likely to usher in an unprecedented opportunity for a true conservative.

I can relate to what I think Glenn means  because I only voted for the Republican ticket because of the addition of Palin.  Honestly, In hindsight the only way that would have changed anything would have been if, God forbid, McCain would have passed away early in his administration.  Otherwise his Presidency probably would have hurt her chances, or other conservative candidates, at being the President later.  I have no problem with the thinking that a “subtle, soft, progressive slide off the cliff ” like you would likely get with McCain is more dangerous  for our country than a “run and jump off the progressive cliff ” like we are getting with Obama.  I think the American people are becoming more aware of the cliff and the potential fall and the result will be a harsh backlash against the progressives rather than what would have been a backlash against another weak. compromising, Republican administration.  Elections do have consequences and we are dealing with those consequences but it still might have been worse and I believe it would taken a lot longer to get over if McCain had been the one chosen.

When Should We Start Counting The Bodies?

September 14th, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Politics, Wind Pudding & Air Sauce

O.K., My intention with this post is not to stir up old controversies (or to start a new one) but  somebody actually did die, so I will try to be respectful of that while at the same time try to flesh a point out, or as my Pastor used to say “Lets chase that rabbit and see where it goes”.

As some may know there were some observers during the Clinton Presidency who noted the unusually high number of people associated with the Clinton’s who ended up dying from accidents, suicides, and whatnot! The body count if I remember right has been claimed to be well over 50 and many of the cases seemed to be odd and suspicious.  A quick perusal of Google’d websites on this Clinton phenomenon makes for some interesting reading.  Names come up such as Ron Brown, Vince Foster, Mary Mahoney, James McDougal, Ed Wiley and many, many more. Some of the deceased were Friends and Associate’s while others were witnesses to, or were being investigated in, cases involving the Clinton’s and sometimes it seems even the Investigator’s themselves became deceased. Almost all seem to involve violent, premature, death. Many were claimed to be suspicious whether they were ruled accidental, murder, or suicide.  The deceased cause of deaths ranged from gunshots to plane crashes, even some suspected poisonings are noted.  If only a smidgen of them have any veracity to them at all then it seems very strange to me that it is not more widely known. Of course that probably is because to discuss it openly like here invites being labeled a Kook!

Anyway, that era is hopefully over and done with and I am not about to try to re-open that can of worms.  But I did want to lay a little groundwork before I noted the death of Christopher Kelly who was an adviser to ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich.  The circumstances surrounding his supposed suicide by aspirin overdose are already sounding suspicious with differing accounts and odd happenings [follow link below for details].  Kelly was Blagojevich’s “go-to guy” who once oversaw the ex-governor’s lucrative campaign fund.  Kelly’s died just four days after he pleaded guilty to a scheme involving $8.5 million in fraud at O’Hare International Airport. It was his second conviction this year — and he still faced trial along with the ex-governor for racketeering and extortion charges in June. Kelly had been indicted three times since 2007 but refused to become a cooperating witness. He spoke of feeling intense pressure by prosecutors to cooperate with the feds and was reportedly flipping on Blagojevich as recently as this summer.

My point about this is that Blagojevich, his indictment, and Kelly are all tied to this new Administration in more ways than them just being from Chicago. Is it merely a coincidence that Blagojevich, Kelly, and President Obama all had dealings (that they regretted) with Tony Rezko, the real estate developer in Chicago, Illinois, who was convicted on several counts of fraud and bribery in 2008?  When you take in to account the reports of Blagojevich’s secret phone conversations with Rahm Emanuel, the White House Chief of Staff, and the reports that the surveillance during the investigation into Blagojevich was shut down prematurely for reasons unknown its not that far of a stretch to make a connection.  Chicago Politics have always been rough and tumble and it wouldn’t surprise me if foul play was involved  but still I am not trying to link his death to this Administration.  I am merely pointing out that if people around this Administration start being killed or mysteriously dying, that before the body count starts piling up, the Press needs to be held to account to at least mention it this time.

UPDATE

Uh Oh, Here’s another One!  The following story is about a key witness in a federal probe into passport information stolen from the State Department being fatally shot.  Lt. Quarles Harris Jr., 24, who had been cooperating with a federal investigators looking into allegations that contractors for the State Department had improperly accessed passport information for presidential candidates Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain.  Very interesting coincidence again considering that the Obama administration refuses to release his passport records.

Main Stream Media falsely reports that Protesters are threatening Obama with Guns!

September 3rd, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Politics, Wind Pudding & Air Sauce

Great editorial uses facts to shine a light on the misrepresentation by the Main Stream Media of Protesters with Guns threatening Obama. It hasn’t happened.  The Press has reported several stories of this nature and has gone out of their way to portray it as being immanently dangerous to the President while obscuring the facts that show otherwise.  Typical Media Malpractice to further their agenda against the 2nd amendment.  This is another one for the “Wind Pudding & Air Sauce” folder on false reporting

EDITORIAL: False reports about guns – Washington Times.

Best Political Cartoon Ever!

August 24th, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Cartoons, Humor, Politics

Here is a the Cartoon that The Fred Thompson Show thinks “Maybe the best political cartoon ever”.  I thinks its pretty funny myself but I’m sure many people on the Left would consider it to be racist because in today’s political climate its not appropriate to criticize a black man.  However if you would ask those same people if it would apply to George Bush I’m quite sure many would concur :-) .
